Nicole Baker is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Roger Williams University and Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. Nicole has previous experience working in substance use residential, PHP, and IOP programs, long-term care facilities, mental health crisis services, and outpatient mental health. Nicole’s therapeutic style is focused on person-centered treatment and the importance of building strong therapeutic rapport. Nicole utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy and solution-focused therapy, and is also trained in using the therapeutic method of Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR.)
Nicole is knowledgeable in supporting individuals through difficulties with anxiety and depression as well as working with individuals with mood disorders and/or psychosis, and various life transitions. Nicole sees the value in working collaboratively to explore and understand the various factors impacting your mental health in effort to reduce symptoms and improve your overall well-being and quality of life.
