Dr. Dakpui is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who specializes in children and adolescents.

After obtaining her doctoral degree in nursing from Fairfield University Egan School of Nursing and Health Studies, she completed a one-year Nurse Practitioner Residency Training Program from Community Health Center Inc, making her one of very few nurse practitioners in the country to hold such additional training and certification.

She is an honorary member of the Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society, and the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

Working with the pediatrics populations as well as patients with substance abuse, and psychosis are Dr. D’s passion in psychiatry.

She comes with a vast knowledge and experience from community based health care approach. As such, family and patient-centered care are core to her approach in the evaluation, diagnosing, and treatment of psychiatric disorders.
