    Alicia is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who graduated from Fordham University School of Social Work in 2012 with a Master of Social Work and has over 15 years of experience in the field. She believes in the mind, body, spirit connection and that, combined, they are at the core of our overall health. With a little guidance, Alicia hopes your perspective of things can shift, and new discoveries can be made. She is here to help support and guide you toward your goals and your path of recovery by providing a safe, non-judgmental and relaxed environment where you can explore the deepest parts of you, and together, work toward achieving your goals and move closer towards overall recovery. Alicia prides herself on having a good therapeutic relationship with her clients and feels honored to be part of your journey. 

    Alicia has a array of experience throughout the mental health field and specializes in Eating Disorders. She has experience treating Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorders, Purging Disorders, Compulsive Eating, ARFID, Other Specified Eating Disorder (OSFED), Compulsive Exercise, Orthorexia, and Body Dysmorphia and Body Image Issues. Although, working with eating disorders is her passion and unique niche, she is also well versed in areas such as depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, mood issues, bipolar, self-harm/suicidal ideation, LGBTQ, life changes, and various others. 

    Alicia works with adolescents, adults of all ages, and families where she creates motivation for change, challenges cognitive distortions, and helps increase distress tolerance and emotional regulation. Her treatment approach is individualized to each client and what works best for them so that you can optimize success in achieving your goals. She incorporates a mix of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction and Expressive Arts into her treatment and care.
